Cooking Class

We're thrilled to recommend The International Kitchen in offering you the opportunity to develop your cooking skills while vacationing at La Toscane. Currently, The International Kitchen has two chefs that provide cooking classes in Aix-en-Provence which is about one hour away from our villa.

Chef Daniel
Aix-en-Provence

What a great opportunity to spend a day with Chef Peyraud! Born in Lyon, and currently Head Chef of the Atelier Culinaire Provencal, Chef Daniel has worked at 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants, and won 3rd place in a competition held by Pierre Troisgros! Having spent a number of years in the UK, his English is perfect. You will meet at 9:00 am at the market place of Aix en Provence to discover the local produce and select items for your class. You will then travel about half an hour to the Chateau for your hands-on cooking lesson in the lovely restored Provencal kitchen, going through the complete preparation of a Provencal meal. You'll enjoy an apertif, and then sit down and enjoy the meal you have prepared, complete with wine. You will also have the opportunity to taste selected wines of the Chateau. You will need your own transportion to and from the Chateau. Available any day on request for a minimum of two.

Aix-en-Provence

In an exquisite antique bastide, located in the countryside near the heart of Aix-en-Provence, Marc Heracle offers cooking classes in the preparation of a three-course meal using provençal, niçoise and Italian recipes. This experience of "les cuisines du sud" is unforgettable. Cooking lesson is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by the meal and tasting session. Available on request for a minimum of 2 people.
